Biography

She Wears Black is a psychedelic post-punk band from Toronto, Canada that formed in early 2015. In July they released their first EP. Members (Iga, Sasha, Khris Harvey and pdb) previously performed with various bands of different genres on both sides of the Atlantic. In spite of, or because of having diverse backgrounds and inspirations, She Wears Black members instantly came to an agreement on what they wanted their music to be about and how it was going to be delivered. Pdb’s impressionistic guitar in combination with Iga’s melancholic vocals, Sasha’s dark melodic bass and Khris’s urgency-expressing percussion allow listeners to travel in time and place. “Inside their room with their eyes closed” they move to another reality where she lives.
